Officially opened in 1990 in Paola, Dar il-Wens was the first home that Fondazzjoni Wens launched, hosting individuals with disabilities.

In 2004 the service was relocated to Kalkara retaining the name of Dar il-Wens. 

Today, the home hosts 25 residents and is managed by Ms Cecilia Alcalde, who joined Fondazzjoni Wens in 2008.

At this home we also offer Day Respite Services.  Individuals are offered the same services as our residents including Food and taking part in our daily activities
